Dr. Jerry L. Jurado
Founder and Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Jerry L. Jurado was born and raised in Lasam, Cagayan in the Philippines. He completed medical school at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. He then trained in Family Medicine at Hoboken University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident Physician. Dr. Jurado has been in practice for more than 20 years and is the founder of Riverview Healthcare Associates. Dr. Jurado speaks English, Spanish, and Filipino.
Jorge Cruz, APN
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jorge Cruz, APN is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner at Riverview Healthcare Associates. He received his undergraduate education at Seton Hall University and earned his graduate degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU). While at FDU, he was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and received the Faculty Recognition award. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining Riverview, Jorge was an ICU registered nurse at Hoboken Universty Medical Center. His view on health is to “lead an active and balanced lifestyle in order to prevent disease and improve overall well-being”. In his spare time, Jorge enjoys traveling, dining, and sports.
